WHY A SCARF?
I know adding clothing when you're already overheated just seems wrong!! But apparently your neck area has carotid arteries and they are very important in terms of cooling the body quickly. The Meno Cool Scarf is designed to cool the blood flowing to the brain at the back of the neck.
Important Disclaimer: I am not a Doctor or Health Professional and I found out this information online. However, I personally really struggled with the heat around my neck for many years and
my cool scarf helped me a lot.
HOW IT WORKS
The mid section of the scarf contains small polymer crystals that when immersed in water swell to up to 400 times their original size to form a gel. The cotton fabric absorbs water from the gel and the water evaporates to create the cooling effect.
To activate your scarf leave it to soak for 15 to 20 minutes in clean cold water. Ensure that all of the mid section containing the crystals is fully submerged. The polymer crystals inside will absorb the water and turn into a cooling gel.
Your scarf can be worn straight away or laid flat until its surface is dry to the touch.
Tie loosely around your neck; it can be turned occasionally for maximum cooling.
The Cool Scarf will remain cool for more than 48 hours but can be reactivated at any time with a short re-soak.

Our Scarves are all made in the UK by a team of Peri, Post & Menopausal women, so each scarf is sent to you with our heartfelt best wishes that it helps you cope with your 'warming'.
Our fabrics are all 100% Cotton for maximum cooling and are sourced from this country.
The Gel Crystals are supplied by a specialist company specifically for the purpose of creating cooling scarves. This means that the gel will not seep through the weave of the fabric creating a sticky residue like many cheap chinese imports.
